Alfredo Maestro – Almate 2020

8,25

The Almate from Alfredo Maestro is a delicious Tempranillo. It didn’t age, it went from a stainless steel tank directly into the bottle. It is young but already in great shape, powerful, with nice tannins and a pleasant nuttiness. Notes of blackberry, lots of caramel and, please don’t laugh, but there is a flavour in there which reminds us of ‘sour cream onion Pringles’! We’d love to know if anyone out there also tastes that or our buds suddenly got loony.
