Schmelzer – Weissburgunder unfiltriert 2020

15,00

The unfiltered Weissburgunder 2019 from Georg Schmelzer has been through a so-called malolactic fermentation: where the acids in the fresh grape must turn into lactic acid. This process gives this cloudy natural wine a creamy, almost buttery flavour. The fresh scent reminds us of ripe peaches and yellow apples. The wine aged in barrels therefore you get lovely vanilla notes. The beautiful dark color is due to the longer skin maceration, you’ll detect some nice tannins therefore!
